We found Carolina Event Masters through Facebook-it's always a little bit of a gamble finding people to work with without a reference from someone you know but everything about Makenzie’s website and how responsive she was made me feel confident in moving forward with her! Makenzie was very responsive from the get-go, and I enjoyed the "get-to-know-you" call. I feel like it allowed me to tell her what my vision was and if we could be on the same page / work together toward that vision!
Everything about working with Makenzie was the best! But I would have to say her organization and keeping in touch with me regularly really stood out to me. It was super helpful especially for thinking of things I wouldn't have thought of and making sure all the bases were covered! I never once felt like I couldn't ask her a question, I never felt abandoned, and I felt like she was truly invested in what my husband and I wanted and made our wants a reality. I couldn't be happier and am so thankful to have worked with her!

We found Carolina Event Masters through a Facebook group for NC brides planning their weddings. Hiring wedding professionals is always difficult because you can’t really “test out” their services beforehand. But that hesitancy disappeared quickly after we spoke with and got to know Makenzie. The communication was really good, there was transparency with understanding pricing and services, she is relatable and kind. I could tell she was really looking out for our best interests for the wedding. What really stood out for me was her honesty and helpfulness– she went above and beyond for us. I would highly recommend Carolina Event Masters because Makenzie and her team were very kind, helpful, caring, considerate, understanding, assertive to get the job done how we wanted, and hard working. It is apparent Makenzie is dedicated to what she does and has the bride and groom’s best interest at heart while still being honest in the planning process.

We found Carolina Event Masters through Facebook! Starting our vendor search was a bit of a gamble because we feel that some vendors in the industry can be a bit judgy, especially since we aren't your average couple. But with Makenzie we had no hesitations to work with her! I immediately felt comfortable after the discovery call and it wasn’t even an option to consider working with someone else.

The best part about working with Makenzie was her communication! I always felt comfortable sending emails or texts about specifics or asking a question and I never felt like I was a bother or being pushed off til the last minute. I know she has other couples at the same time, it really seems like she managed everything very very well. I would absolutely recommend Carolina Event Masters to everyone (and already have!)

I don’t think there could be a more thorough and caring set of planners. They truly are amazing. I am a fairly controlling person and I get stressed letting go of the reins when I have such a particular vision but Carolina Event Masters executed it perfectly and there is nothing that I would change. They are thoughtful, caring, thorough and very communicative and just generally so friendly and comfortable to be around and I think these things make a huge difference. I can't imagine my wedding day without Makenzie and Carolina Event Masters.
